History
 In Janurary 2006, BWI Companies, Inc. received recognition for the following awards at the Lawn & Garden Marketing and Distribution Association meeting in Phoenix, AZ:
Bob Bunch received the Lifetime Achievement Award which is the highest award bestowed by the LGMDA and is presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the lawn andgarden industry. To be eligible to receive this award, an individual has distinguished him or herself through innovation, service, and dedication to the industry.
BWI also received 3rd place for trade show which was evaluated in the following areas:
- Dealer Preparedness
- Dealer attendance
- Show Program
- Sales Support
- Cost per booth
- Location
- Overall value
Additionally, BWI received a first place award for Accounts Payable. This category evaluated the distributor’s accounts payable policies including payment within terms, payment complete without unauthorized deductions, timely communication of price/terms/program issues. BWI is proud of the fact we are recognized as a company that fulfills ourfinancial and payment obligations in a prompt and timely manor. Congratulations to our accounts payable team.
Finally, BWI received a First Place for Overall Relationships which was evaluated on how distributor’s rank in relationship to its peers with regard to overall performance.
Being the recipient of this award represents the value BWI brings to its respective vendor partners. These awards were voted on by 26 manufactures who are members of the LGMDA. To say the least BWI was very proud to be the recipient of the afore mentioned awards and everyone at BWI is to be congratulated for making it all possible.
